Everybody always has at least one person that is constantly late, disruptive, ill-prepared, argues for argues sake, or worse, wants it their way…or else. There are real time strategies for minimizing or stopping the behavior.
Beyond those strategies, include language in your bylaws that board expectations includes collaborative behavior. In your onboard paperwork, include those expectations and have incoming board members sign the document.
